A 32-year-old female marketing employee of a bank in Ikorodu, Lagos State, committed suicide by drinking an insecticide within the bank premises.

Amarachi Ugochukwu, a 32-year-old female marketing employee of a bank in Ikorodu, Lagos State, committed suicide by drinking an insecticide within the bank premises. 

The incident occurred on Monday, and she was found dead in the restroom with a suicide note blaming economic hardships and expressing despair about her life. 

The bank manager reported the incident to the police, who confirmed her death and initiated an investigation. 

Ugochukwu apologized to her family in the suicide note, and her body was deposited at Ikorodu General Hospital for autopsy
