FUTA STUDENT, SAMUEL OLUWAPELUMI, COMPLETES 84-HOUR MATH-A-THON

Samuel Emmanuel Oluwapelumi, an Industrial Mathematics Student of the Federal University of Technology Akure (FUTA), has accomplished a remarkable feat by completing a 84-hour Math-A-Thon. The event commenced on Wednesday, March 13, 2024, and concluded at exactly 12:04 on Sunday, March 17, 2024, at the T.I Francis Auditorium, FUTA.

Throughout the four days, Samuel dedicated himself to teaching mathematics tutorials, day and night, with short breaks in between. His determination and commitment were supported by fellow students and the university, which ensured all-round medical support with a standby ambulance.

Following the successful completion of the Math-A-Thon, Samuel is currently taking a well-deserved rest and is being monitored by medical personnel from the university.

Samuel expressed his elation at the accomplishment and thanked everyone who supported and encouraged him during the event.
