
List Of The 77 Ranking Yoruba Oba’s In Ogun State.
The Ogun State Ministry of Local Government and Chieftaincy Affairs has a list of 77 Yoruba Obas, who are permanent members of the Ogun State Council of Obas.
According to the list, each geopolitical zones of Yewa, Egba, Ijebu and Remo, has Obas who are permanent members of the council, starting from the four paramount rulers.
For example, there are 19 Obas from Yewa, 20 from Egba, 20 from Ijebu and 18 from Remo, who are permanent members of the Ogun State Council of Obas.
However, other Obas are listed as rotational members, that is, they take turns to be members of the council.
