Police operatives in the Federal Capital Territory, Abuja, have arrested a 28-year-old man, Pascal Akuh, for allegedly faking his own kidnapping. Akuh was among the suspects paraded at the command’s headquarters in Abuja on March 20 by the FCT Commissioner of Police.
According to the Commissioner of Police, Akuh’s brother, Akuh Chinemezeh, reported on March 14, 2023, that Pascal had called him claiming he was arrested by the police and taken to the State Criminal Investigation Department (SCID) custody. However, upon investigation, it was discovered that Pascal was not in any of the mentioned facilities.
