
NYCN Appoints Bello Kehinde Oluwaseun as Youth Ambassador to South Africa
The National Youth Council of Nigeria (NYCN) has appointed Comrade Bello Kehinde Oluwaseun from Ogun State as the Youth Ambassador to South Africa, entrusting him with the responsibility of championing the interests of Nigerian youths on both the African continent and the global stage.
The announcement was made by the NYCN Vice President for Diaspora Affairs, Ambassador Collins Idahosa, who described Prince Oluwaseun as a competent and suitable representative for Nigerian youths in South Africa. In his official statement to newsmen, Amb. Idahosa noted that the appointment places on Oluwaseun the task of promoting Nigerian interests, fostering unity, and strengthening connections among Nigerian youths living in South Africa. He added that Oluwaseun’s proven leadership capacity and passion for youth empowerment would enhance cooperation, networking, and development among Nigerian young people in the diaspora.
In his acceptance remarks, Comrade Bello Kehinde Oluwaseun expressed his commitment to motivating young Nigerians to actively participate in shaping their development and advocating for their interests on the global front. He emphasized his dedication to deepening youth engagement, self-development, and international collaboration.
Oluwaseun, who also serves as the South West Zonal Coordinator of the National Youth Progressive Mobilization (NYPM), highlighted his long-standing involvement in youth activism. He acknowledged the support and mentorship of Hon. Adebisi Afeez Adebukola, the National Director-General of NYPM from Oyo State, with whom he has worked closely over the years.
Promising to bring his wealth of experience into his new ambassadorial role, he assured that Nigerian youths in South Africa would feel a renewed sense of representation and support under his leadership.
Ambassador Prince Bello Kehinde Oluwaseun hails from Ado Odo in Ado Odo-Ota Local Government Area of Ogun State. He completed his primary education at Adidayat Primary School and secondary education at St. Stephen Comprehensive High School. He later attended Lagos State Polytechnic before establishing a career in estate agency and building construction, eventually relocating to South Africa, where he currently resides.
Driven by a passion to restore dignity, strengthen unity, and spotlight the excellence of Nigerians abroad, Ambassador Oluwaseun aims to promote diplomacy, social empowerment, and cross-border collaboration. He continues to stand as a strong advocate for youth integration in global matters, leveraging his diverse experiences to build bridges between nations and inspire collective progress.
