Ogun State Government Denounces False Online Recruitment Advertisement

The Ogun State Government has issued a statement debunking a false online recruitment advertisement that was falsely attributed to the state Civil Service Commission. The announcement, which claimed to be from the commission, purported to call for applications for various vacancies in the state civil service.

In a statement released in Abeokuta, the Permanent Secretary of the Civil Service Commission, Mrs. Roseline Oluwatoyin Jacobs, clarified that the recruitment advert was fraudulent and should be disregarded by the public. Mrs. Jacobs emphasized that the information was a malicious act orchestrated by unscrupulous individuals with the intent to tarnish the image of the state government.

The Ogun State Government, through Mrs. Jacobs, urged the general public to completely ignore the online publication and advised against any engagement with the fraudulent recruitment advertisement. The government assures the public that all official announcements regarding recruitment or any other government activities will be communicated through appropriate channels.
