Sagamu Cult Clash as Police Confirm Three Dead
Confirmation has been made by the Ogun State Police Command regarding the deaths of three persons in a recent violent cult clash in Sagamu.
Having previously claimed the lives of about 20 individuals in September, the cultists again engaged in a battle for dominance in Sagamu on Friday, resulting in the deaths of at least two men.
According to a statement released on Friday, the police discovered three men lying lifeless in pools of their own blood.
The Ogun State Police Public Relations Officer, Omolola Odutola, stated that the Divisional Police Officer in Sagamu intercepted intelligence from a concerned citizen with a private identity during a routine weekend patrol on Sunday.
The information revealed that a group of six unidentified men had entered the Agbowa area with the intention of instigating a clash between rival cult groups.

She continued, stating that the victims were rushed to Olabisi Onabanjo Teaching Hospital in Sagamu, where they were certified dead by a doctor and their bodies subsequently taken to the morgue.
Police also secured the area of the crime scene and recovered eight expended cartridges, one live cartridge, and one Samsung phone.
Subsequently, three individuals were arrested, namely Oluwatosin Adeniro, 25; Adebayo Oluwasun, 35; and Segun Ademola, 38.
