SITUATION REPORT ON THE INCIDENT AT ABATTOIR POLICE STATION, Agege Lagos

Abdulmalik Abdullahi arrived at the Abattoir Police Station on 8th January 2024 to report a serious assault he had suffered earlier that day.

According to his statement, at around 4:00am, Bashiru Ahmed attacked him using a sharp knife, resulting in the severing of his right ear. The motive behind the attack was revealed to be a misunderstanding that had occurred between the two individuals in the previous year, 2023.

Following the incident, Abdulmalik Abdullahi was immediately taken to the hospital for urgent medical attention.

He is currently receiving treatment for his injuries, and his condition is being closely monitored.

Bashiru Ahmed, the accused person, was apprehended by the police and is presently in custody.
