Taxi Driver found dead by the roadside in his cab.

Police is investigating the mysterious death of a man, Mr Adeola Adenekan, found dead in his Taxi by the road side along Sagamu Abeokuta expressway, Kobape , Ogun state.

The man had notified his wife that he would be transporting a cow for a neighbor who hired him down to Ijebu area. While the wife also informed the husband that she will be going for an all-night church program in Odeda work, both went their separate way not knowing it would be the last time they will both set eyes on each other as living beings.

“It was like he disappeared, he just went missing, the last thing I remember was him telling me how much he appreciate me for calling him steadily to check on him not knowing he was going to die.” The wife said.

“We went to the police station to report that my husband has been missing for days but to my surprise , one of his colleagues at the Taxi Tarmac in Abeokuta said he saw a taxi exactly like his, parked beside the roadside, somewhere around Kobape.”

It was gathered that the man must have felt tired, pulled over , bent his seat to relax for a couple of minutes and then in the process gave up the ghost. He was presumed to have been dead on his driver seat for three (3) days.

In the same vein, 2 of his colleagues who spoke with emergin.ng said he wasn’t sick or feeling sick the last time they were together discussing.

But his wife said he was feeling body pains and headache so he took some herbs and he rested for 3 days to resume his transportation business.

It is alleged that there might be some unexplained conditions around his mysterious death since he wasn’t sick before leaving home. Even though no part of his body was missing.
