Wellness Company NeoLife Suspends Distributors After PUNCH Investigation

Global wellness brand NeoLife has suspended several of its distributors following a Saturday PUNCH investigation which uncovered how young people including students were being lured away from formal education and genuine career prospects into a sales system where substantial earnings were nearly impossible.

The report, titled “Illusion: The ‘billionaire’ scheme driving students into debt, prostitution”, detailed how some NeoLife distributors allegedly pressured young recruits with misleading promises of wealth and success.

In a WhatsApp message shared with PUNCH on Saturday, the company announced immediate disciplinary action against all individuals mentioned in the publication.

According to the message, NeoLife stated that:

“All distributors referenced in the PUNCH newspaper publication (22nd Nov ’25) will be placed on suspension with immediate effect pending a thorough investigation.”

The company further cautioned that any behaviour capable of damaging its reputation or violating its policies would result in strict disciplinary sanctions.

The suspension marks the first major response by the wellness firm since the exposé sparked public concern over exploitative recruitment practices targeting students and young adults.
