
Son of Ondo Landlord Arrested for Fatally Stabbing Tenant

The Ondo State Police Command has confirmed the arrest of a 41-year-old man, Odunayo Olomolatan, for the alleged murder of 22-year-old Joy Tale, a tenant residing in his father’s house.
The tragic incident occurred during a heated argument between the suspect and the victim at their residence in Ode Irele, located in Irele Local Government Area of the state.
Speaking on the development, the state Police Public Relations Officer, Mr. Olayinka Ayanlade, said the suspect is now in custody at the Divisional Police Headquarters in Ode-Irele. He added that investigations into the circumstances surrounding the incident are ongoing.
“The suspect, Odunayo Olomolatan, has been arrested and is currently in our custody. We have launched a thorough investigation to determine the motive behind the attack,” Ayanlade said.
Meanwhile, the Chairman of Irele Local Government, Mr. Olajide Akinfe, has appealed to residents to remain calm and not take the law into their own hands. He assured the public that appropriate steps are being taken to ensure justice is served and that the suspect will be held accountable.
