Iyabo Ojo’s Daughter, Priscilla, Concludes Lavish Wedding in Tanzania

Priscilla Ojo, daughter of popular Nollywood actress Iyabo Ojo, has officially concluded her wedding festivities with renowned Tanzanian singer, Juma Jux. The couple wrapped up their months-long celebration with a spectacular grand finale on Wednesday, May 28, 2025, in Dar es Salaam, Tanzania — the groom’s home country.

Themed “African Royal Wedding,” the event was a display of culture, glamour, and love. Guests from different parts of the world gathered to witness the high-profile union. The groom, visibly elated, acknowledged the overwhelming support:

“The day is here. I am so happy and excited. I believe everybody is ready. We received over 150 foreigners in Tanzania today because of JP2025.”

Dressed in matching white outfits, Priscilla looked stunning in a flowing gown with intricate designs, while Juma complemented her look with a crisp white coat and cap. The mother of the bride, Iyabo Ojo, turned heads in a dazzling gold ensemble. She delivered heartfelt words of advice and blessings to the couple, joined by close friends such as actress Funke Akindele, who flew in from Lagos for the occasion. A light-hearted moment went viral when Akindele introduced herself to the groom in her signature humorous accent.

The colourful reception that followed saw Priscilla don a chic pink gown, while Juma wore a stylish pink and black outfit. During the event, Juma serenaded his bride with romantic Tanzanian songs, filling the atmosphere with love and admiration.

The highlight of the evening came when Juma led Priscilla and their guests outdoors for a surprise reveal — a brand-new Range Rover, gifted to his bride. The gesture moved Priscilla to tears, while her mother joyfully applauded Juma, hailing him repeatedly as “Odogwu.”

The wedding climaxed with a vibrant after-party that lasted into the night, as the newlyweds and their guests danced in celebration of their love story.

The couple’s wedding journey began on February 7, 2025, with a traditional ceremony in Tanzania, followed by a civil wedding and a series of celebrations held in both Tanzania and Nigeria, leading up to the final event that sealed their union in royal style.
